How can you avoid being in the horrible financial situation after you have lost your job? What should you do in order not to spoil your credit score during temporary unemployment?
First of all you should think in advance! Always have some money to cover all your major expenses for half a year. This sum must be big enough at least to pay off your mortgage, car and student loans. You can have this money on your personal bank account or in cash; they will definitely help you to pay your bills while you don't have a job. Having some money saved, you will be sure that while you are looking for a new place of work, you can still pay your bills!

The insurance will cover you up to 3 months of your unemployment or medically proved disability. You will not have any major blemishes on your credit report!
If your funds are not big enough or you don't have any, you should contact your credit card company and let them know about your temporary financial difficulties. You will get a piece of mind and Visa, Discover or American Express will be more willing to cooperate with you, because they will see that you are doing everything you can in order to get things back together.

He received the calls of rejections from potential employers for 3 months! It was very long and extremely difficult three months of his unemployment.
